Shaving, Waxing, Depilatory, or Nad's?

Many of us have a regimen we follow to remove unwanted body hair. I personally have done this for many years, and literally have tried dozens of products.

When I first began I used a razor. It was sufficient as it did remove the hair, but I found I was having to shave every day. As we all know it becomes a chore to keep our skin smooth and stubble free.

After about six months of shaving my legs, underarms, and pubic area, I knew there had to be a better solution to remedy the growth of hair. This is when I was introduced to depilatory type products. Not only do they smell awful, but the chemicals that allow them to remove the hair are so harsh. I have very sensitive skin, so it was not a good choice for me.

Then I was introduced to waxing. I began waxing many years ago, and it did work, and lasted for a longer period of time. The problem with waxing is that it was painful, caused my skin to become red and a bit puffy. Even though waxing did work it was not something that caused me to jump out of bed in the morning and say, "Yippee!!! I am getting waxed today!" Candle wax during play is one thing, wax to remove hair is quite another.

Several weeks ago I was watching late night TV and saw an infomercial about a new hair removal product. I sat there listening to a group of women go on and on about the wonderful aspects of Nad's. They talked about shaving, depilatories, and waxing and knew exactly how I felt about each of these methods.

As the half hour progressed they demonstrated the use of the all natural product that doesn't need to be heated, doesn't pull off the top layer of skin like normal waxing, doesn't burn because you use it right out of the jar, it doesn't stink, and it is extremely safe. They even tasted it! I would definitely never do that with shaving cream, wax, or depilatories.

Anyway, I wrote down the toll-free number and the url. Knowing I had nothing to lose and possibly everything to gain by using this product I went to the web site and placed my order.

I was due for my next waxing, but canceled it so that I could use the product the moment it arrived. I was so excited when it was finally delivered that I immediately opened the box, glanced at the directions, as I am not one to really read directions, and then I opened the jar to get started.

I applied it just as I had seen it done on television in the direction of hair growth, placed the backing strip on it, rubbed it three times, held the skin taunt and pulled in the opposite direction.

I was amazed! All the hair was removed, my skin was still intact, and I hardly felt a thing, plus the skin did not turn red or become puffy.

I was curious about the infomercial's statement that the strip could be used again and again without reapplying the product. I placed the used strip on the next section of hair, rubbed it three times, held it taunt and pulled. Total amazement, the used strip removed the hair. I used the same strip without reapplying the product on my entire leg.

I have never used a product that was more simple, painless, non-messy, and has no offensive odor. I have found a product that does exactly what I was told it would.

I am so thrilled with this product I just had to share it with all of you.

Oops, almost forgot to mention one of the biggest benefits of using Nad's. With continued use over a period of time the hair does not grow back!!! Can you imagine being hair free? I can hardly wait for that to happen!

Plus, the backing strips are even reusable as the product is water soluble. When I was done I simply washed them out using warm to hot water and hung them up to dry. Can it be more simple? No.
